ABOUT ME

Laura was born in South America and has lived in many places before landing in Halifax, Nova Scotia 23 years ago. Her 'PLAN A' didn't work out... But she is happy just being a human and figuring it out along the way. She loves her kids, nature, plants, most animals, some humans, and great stories.

ACTING

Beginning her career in the early 2000's, Laura is best known for Jumping the Broom (2011) All the Wrong Reasons (2013) and her nomination for "Best Female Lead" in A Bug and a Bag of Weed (2007).

SINGING

Laura has been singing her whole life. While her performance career began in Churches as a teen, she has graced stages across North America and beyond over the years. WRITING

Writing; in song or story, has been at the heart of Laura's creative expression. She continues to work on various writing projects that currently include upcoming performances in Halifax Story Slam (October 2024) and Stories in Nova Scotia (SINS). HOSTING

Laura's desire to connect, share and hear other people's stories is what shines most as a host. Whether live or on camera, her love for people and their experiences is the driving force behind her energy and engagement.
